Like to hit the sales?  Are you a bargain hunter?  Maybe you just have a thing for auctions, pitting your buying skills against another.  Well, this Saturday you can see just how good you are and maybe walk or ride off with a real steal.  It's the big San Diego Police Department's auction of unclaimed property and there truly is something for just about everyone.

Of the 250 or so items up for bid about 100 are bicycles.  There are also surf boards, cell phones, cameras, televisions, clothing, jewelry, computers - -  you get the idea.  There will be no refunds, all sales are final and no credit cards accepted; only cash and checks from local banks.

You can preview your "gotta have-its" starting at 8:30 Saturday morning, March 20.  The actual auction will start shortly after 9:30 and, for the first time, it's being held at the Balboa Park Club located, where else? - right in the heart of Balboa Park, 2080 Pan American Plaza.

For more information you can listen to the recording at (619) 531-2767.
