The décor inside Miss Trendy is a girl’s dream with bubble gum pink walls, and playful framed drawings of in vogue Barbies and a pink couch shaped like a seashell that reflects Fidan, the boutiques owner’s personality.
Needless to say the customer service is top notch. Just good old: “Let me know if I can help you” service and none of that push-push-pushy feel when shopping in La Jolla’s high-end stores.
The cheeky design is a fun juxtaposition to the selection. Although definitely feminine, the clothing and accessories are also fabulously forward – girly meets rock and roll chic.
Merchandise includes ethnic accents, bejeweled silk tops in forest green, today’s take on the must-have tore up denim, studded floral dresses as well as the very hard to find and true symbol of a trendsetter, the double wrap skinny belt in brown leather and copper studs. There is also a little black frock that would make Audrey Hepburn envious and maxi dresses in unique prints and styles.
This is only a taste from the volume of choices. While most San Diego boutiques have cut back inventory so much you can barely browse further than a couple dresses and a tee, Miss Trendy still has full racks of on-point trends that will make a woman fashionable, feminine and fabulous.
