Take a gander at this iPad Cam-Case design by Chet Rosales. You probably want a case for your iPad anyway, so adding a camera — a swiveling camera, no less — to that enclosure is an elegant way to solve two problems with one sleek product.

Maybe the reason a front-facing camera for videoconferencing wasn't included in the iPad was because it would drain the battery, so there's plenty of room for an extra battery or two in this hard shell case. Either that or slim down that klunky side panel a bit, and then maybe Apple will approve this thing.
