It's a nice warm day in America's Finest so how about a big scoop of frozen yogurt to cool you off. If you're sold on that idea why not take the short drive to Scripps Ranch where that scoop of frozen delight will, today only, actually help build a school in a small village in the country of Cambodia.

San Diegans Bill and Nancy Bamberger came up with the plan after visiting Cambodia and, since 2006, they've been raising funds to get a five-room school built in the village of Prey Tauch. It will cost $25,000.

You can donate a scoop at a time on St. Patrick's Day, by printing a flier, getting your family and friends to do likewise, and pay a visit to The Big Chill in Scripps Ranch, which is donating profits to the fund.

The Big Chill is located in the shopping center at 10299 Scripps Trail; just take Pomerado off the 15 freeway, then left at Avenida Magnifica. That turns into Scripps Trail about a half mile up the road and the shopping center will be on your right, right across from the club house.

You can donate directly to the Cambodian Village Fund info@cambodianvillagefund.org.
