This Thursday, The LInkery will be hosting an exclusive beer-pairing event.
Attention all beer lovers! This Thursday, the Linkery will host an exclusive beer tasting. Be one of the first to sample these world class beers! It's all happening Thursday, June 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The Linkery and Northern California's Mad River Brewery Company are teaming up to feature 14 beers, including "six cask conditioned brews" and five new releases, according to a Yelp.com posting. The Linkery is pairing each of these featured brews with unique tapas-sized appetizers.
Seven bucks will get you a cask beer and paired dish, and there are seven different choices to choose from. Get however many you like -- your choice, according to The Linkery.
Here is a sampling of the featured beer pairings:
- The Mad Belgian Golden Ale with Monte Cristo (cured Berkshire ham, local berry jam, and pickled watermelon).
- Double Brown Ale with Grilled Asparagus (cask-0aged soy sauce, salad, pastured quail eggs).
- Double Indian Pale Ale with Honey Date Crostini (honey, blue cheese, Dates by Davall, cherries, and house made bread).
- Chocolate Oatmeal Stout with house made oatmeal raisin cookie, house made Oatmeal Stout ice cream sandwich, dipped in organic Taza Chocolate.
The Linkery is located in North Park and was named one of Imbibe magazine's "100 Best Places to Drink Beer." The neighborhood restaurant offers guests "farm to table goodness." Go ahead, imbibe!
