When life hands you lemons, throw a party!
On Sunday, August 12, Chula Vista will honor to its heritage as the “Lemon Capital of the World” with the annual community Lemon Festival.
The citrus celebration runs along Third Avenue from E Street to G Street, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The free festival will feature live entertainment on three stages, a beer garden, crafters, international food vendors and a kid’s fun zone. Of course, lemons galore are also included in the line-up.
This year the event will also boast a new health and fitness area on E Street and a “Lemon Fantasy Hair Competition.”
