Welcome to Chocolat Cremerie…a trendy café on Fifth Avenue in the Historic Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego.

Upon entering, your eyes focus in on the large glass case covering a dozen of delicious gelato and sorbet flavors ranging from hazelnut to basil lemon. As you gaze up, a large menu displays the many options of crepes, from savory like the Portobello and Gruyere to the sweet, filled with Nutella and your choice of gelato. The menu also features salads, pastas, bruschetta, carpaccio, paninis, flatbreads, and specialty coffees.

This recent addition to San Diego’s café society is the perfect place for a first date or an after dinner dessert. Besides, where else can you get gelato-filled crepes? It’s the perfect blend of two of the best things to come out of Italy and France, in my opinion!
