Art Show to Focus on Downtown

Check out the second annual Gaslamp Art Showcase Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. in Downtown.

This free Art Showcase invites people to rediscover the beautiful and architecturally rich Historic District by day as they tour each element of the event on a sunny Sunday in San Diego, according to our media partner DiscoverSD.com

The Gaslamp Art Showcase will host multiple art exhibits and installations in unique settings throughout the district. Many leading artists in San Diego will gather to display their talent for this juried event.

The “Reflection Art Show” will feature an outdoor booth exhibit on Island Avenue, while the “Spyglass Art Exhibit” will be within such Gaslamp venues as galleries and rooftop lounges.

Spotlight participating locations include: Michael J. Wolf Gallery, Shorelines Gallery, Siamak Art Gallery, The Art of Tim Cantor, CJ Gallery, Dakota Grill and Spirits, J6 Bar / Hotel Solamar, San Diego Wine & Culinary Center, Heavenly Cupcake, and Ivy Hotel. Visit gaslamp.org for all Gaslamp restaurants and venues.

The Gaslamp Art Showcase is a free community event produced by the Gaslamp Quarter Association and its partner businesses. Head downtown on Sunday, March 29th from 12-5pm for a spring afternoon of Gaslamp art and culture. Learn more at gaslamp.org.
