Inspired by the new movie Confessions of a Shopaholic, contestants in Fashion Valley will use their heels, hair-dryers, nails and nail files, or even the keys to their BMW’s to chip away at an ice block in which the shiny plastic card of endless retail potential lies.
The gift card--worth a $1,000 shopping spree at Henri Bendel--will go to the girl who gets to it first.
Second and third place finishers are not left empty-handed, however (and what girl deserves that on Valentine’s Day?). They will each receive a Henri Bendel hatbox filled with sweet and chic treats.
Contestants will be selected at 12:45 p.m. and the event will take place at 1:00 p.m. in front of Macy’s in the first floor of the mall.
