In the mood for a movie? How about 150? Then you better check out the 13th annual San Diego Asian Film Festival that begins on Nov. 1.
Films from more than 20 countries will play across the county as local and international directors showcase their latest work.
Opening night at North Park Birch Theater features the movie “Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey” about the miraculous discovery of a formerly homeless cover-band frontman man from the Philippines.
George Takei, of Star Trek fame, will also be in town for the event to attend the dinner awards gala.
With screening locations throughout San Diego, it won’t be hard to find a theater in your neighborhood participating. North Park Birch Theater, Ultrastar Mission Valley, University of California San Diego, Cinepolis Del Mar, and Museum of Photographic Arts are all participating screens in this year’s festival.
The festival goes from Nov. 1-9 at various locations. For more information and ticket prices, visit the SDAFF website.
