Gem Faire Sparkles in San Diego

The annual jewelry and gem trade show is August 10-12 at the Scottish Rite Center

San Diego will sparkle this weekend when the annual Gem Faire trade show sets up shop.

The event, held at the Scottish Rite Event Center located at 1895 Camino del Rio South, will run from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

That’s plenty of time for bling-lovers to check out more than 100 world-renowned importers, exporters and manufacturers of fine jewelry, gems, beads, crystals and minerals.

Attendees can also browse through finished and unfinished jewelry, rare gemstones, jewelry boxes and jewelry-making tools. While attendees shop, they can have their own jewelry repaired and cleaned on site.

The Gem Faire will showcase classes and demonstrations throughout the weekend. Prize giveaways will take place every hour as well.

Admission to the sparkly soiree costs $7, and the ticket is good for entry the entire weekend.
