Lots of designers are looking for ways to go green these days, part of which includes the use of materials in clothing and accessories that would have otherwise gone to scrap.
Unnur's founder took this concept to heart when she noticed that seafood canneries were simply disposing of the fish skins. She found a way to turn these skins into soft, suede-like materials and transformed them into a variety of unique duffels, purses, belts, cuffs and bound journals.
Textured, naturally reflective and dyed in rich hues, you'll be surprised at how attracted you are to the natural (odorless) beauty. Not to mention that they make great conversation pieces, and are eco-friendly.
