The Comic-Con convention could still be leaving San Diego, according to a published report.

Organizers of Comic-Con met on Sunday but still have not reached a decision on whether to stay after the 2012 event scheduled in San Diego, reports the San Diego Union-Tribune.

San Diego is competing with Anaheim and Los Angeles to host the event. The annual comic book and popular arts convention attracts over 100,000 people.

The San Diego Convention Center recently submitted a three-year proposal offering extra hotel meeting space and discounted hotel rooms. A plan to expand expand the convention center is also in the works.

A decision will be made within the next three weeks, according to organizers.
