Wounded Warrior Homes Hosts Charity Ride Through San Diego

The 88-mile ride through San Diego begins at Southbay Motorsports in Chula Vista

Road warriors will feel right at home this Saturday during the Wounded Warrior Homes Charity Ride starting in Chula Vista.

The 88-mile ride through San Diego kicks off at Southbay Motorsports at 1980 Auto Park Place.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. All street legal motorcycles and cars are welcome to join  the ride.

Registration fees for this "Warrior's Code Poker Ride" cost $30 for riders and $20 for each passenger.

Proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Homes organization.

Along the ride's route, there will be several designated stops for motorists. Eventually, participants will end up back at Southbay Motorsports for a finish line party.

Live music, giveaways and a barbecue will wrap up the ride at the finish line.

Motorcycle stuntman Kane “Insane” Friesen will perform several live stunt shows throughout the day sponsored by Southbay Motorsports.

The post-ride festivities are all free to participants.
