Wine & Dine Prohibition-Style

The Prohibition: Wine & Dine event will be held on April 21 at The Westin Gaslamp Quarter

It’s time to get hungry, because tickets for one of San Diego’s premiere wine and food events are now on sale.

The Prohibition: Wine & Dine event will be held on April 21 at The Westin Gaslamp Quarter.

Attendees of the Prohibition-style soiree can enjoy a non-stop dance floor, indulge in tastings from premium wine and food producers and bid on items at the exciting silent auction. There’s even a secret password to gain access into the local speakeasy, where you can enjoy specially handcrafted prohibition-era cocktails and try out your luck on the casino game floor.

The event helps give aid to San Diego’s growing population of seniors to help them remain independent in their own homes, said Executive Director of Elderhelp Leane Marchese. The organization’s services target some of the oldest, poorest and most frail seniors with the fewest resources and the least support.

Wine & Dine: Prohibition will place from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 at Westin Gaslamp Quarter. Tickets are $150 in advance and $200 at the door.  For more information about ticket purchase or donations to Elderhelp, visit the event website.
