Balboa Park is adding some spice to Wednesday night.

Celebrating more than 200 years of Mexican Independence, Viva Mexico will take place tomorrow night from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in and around four museums in Balboa Park. Participating museums include The San Diego Museum of Man, Mingei International Museum, The San Diego Museum of Art and Timken Museum of Art.

Traditional Mexican food, art, music and dance will be available at the festival for people to enjoy – including mariachi bands and folkloric dancers.

Hungry for something south of the border? Mexican cuisine will be provided by The Prado Restaurant, which will offer a different delicacy and complimentary drink at each museum.

Tickets for Viva Mexico are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the event.  Children 6 & under free. Tickets can be purchased at the Museum of Man website.
