Titanic Exhibit to Open in San Diego

San Diego Natural History Museum offers the real story of the 1912 voyage

Almost 100 years after the sinking of the Titanic, artifacts from the infamous voyage will be on display in San Diego for the first time.

More than 200 artifacts from the Titanic will be on display at the San Diego Natural History Museum beginning in February.

“Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition” will offer a replica boarding pass to museum visitors allowing them to “board” the ship and follow the story of its first and final voyage.

Among the items on display will be perfume bottles, White Star Line china and other objects recovered from the debris field discovered in 1985.

“Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition” opens Feb. 10. Tickets ($27 for adults) include general admission to the museum and can be purchased in advance.
