North Park is usually known for its wallet-friendly bars, unique delicious restaurants, cutesy cafes, and shopping boutiques; but this weekend it was all about the music.
The North Park Music Thing put on by San Diego Music & Media Conference and Festival is a three-day music event that took place this weekend at the Lafayette Hotel and Suites.
Featured artists included Black Heart Procession, The Night Marchers, and Steve Poltz & the Rugburns.
This three-day music event kicked off with opening night at the Casbah. Saturday was the main music night that included 20 stages with over 150+ performers. On Sunday, musicgoers enjoyed Street Fest where you can walk around to enjoy the sounds, view a live art show and grab a bite at their international food court all in one day.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the San Diego Music Foundation.
