So, you think you've done everything there is to do in America's Finest - have you been to the "Dive-In Theater" yet? No, didn't think so. It's not a "Drive-In" it's a "Swim-In" and it's found every Wednesday night at the Pearl Hotel swimming pool in Point Loma. The vintage films are shown poolside on a 10' x 13' screen starting at 8:00 PM.
Movie night is open to the public, you don't have to be a guest to attend. Best of all, it's free, all the management asks is that you make a purchase at the restaurant or bar, which is probably the coolest way to watch the movie anyway. Seating is pretty limited on a first come, first served basis so you want to get there early. For parties of 6 you can even reserve The Cabana. And, if you really want to "get into it" you can wear your swimsuit and BYOR (bring your own raft). Don't have one? That's cool, they have a few you can borrow.
