It's not just just another night at the ballet when Spain's premier dance company comes to town.
Love the ballet or just dance in general? This could be your "must see" of the season if that's the case. The Compania Nacional de Danza 2, Spain's premier dance company, arrives in town over the weekend for Tuesday night's single performance of Without Words, Duende and Gnawa.
The performance is described as a fusion of contemporary ballet and Spain's essential passion, romance and spontaneity. As part of UC San Diego's ArtPower series, you'll be invited to stick around after the performance to meet and talk with some of the stars as well as the troupe's famous artistic director, Nacho Duato.
