Surf Film Premiere Benefits Healthy Start

Helping better the health for infants and newborns

Be part of the breakthrough and make someone’s dream come true.

On August 4, Bird’s Surf Shed in San Diego will be hosting the premiere of surf movie director Taylor Steele’s "Here and Now." All proceeds will benefit PCI’s Healthy Start Program, which promotes better health for at-risk infants and newborns in SoCal.

Hundreds of guests will be attending this event and will get the chance to meet Junior World Surfing Champion Leila Hurst.

The film, "Here and Now" focuses on new digital filmmaking. This event will mark the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Taylor Steele’s first big surf movie "Momentum."

There will be two screenings on Saturday. The first showing is at 7 p.m. and the last one is at 9 p.m.

Come out for a good time and enter in the raffle and silent auction that will are sponsored by Reef, Hydroflex, Surfing Magazine and Southwest Airlines.

Tickets cost
$15 for adults and $10 for those 18 and under.
