SD Half-Marathon Celebrates San Diego

Following the 13.1 mile race, the band Lifehouse will perform a concert

    The 13.1 race will raise money for communities around San Diego.

    The San Diego Half Marathon will be celebrating San Diego with an inaugural race at Petco Park on Saturday March 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    All proceeds will go toward community service projects around the city. San Diego Half Marathon will assist five selected charities picked by participates, to raise money for the charitable foundation most important to them.

    Following the 13.1 mile race, the band Lifehouse will perform a concert.

    Food and drinks will be available inside the park, and families can enjoy the Family Fun Zone with games for all ages.

    The cost to participate is $15. Doors open at 8 a.m. for general admission.
