You’ve heard of Project Runway. Now, on Thursday, August 26, head to one of San Diego’s most innovative venues, Fluxx, for Project Ethos. Project Runway alums and San Diego fashion staples, Gordana Gehlhausen and Jesus Estrada will showcase their Spring 2011 collections, along with six other emerging designers. I can see the awe-struck faces now...

What to expect: Live music and DJs spinning while the worlds of art and fashion collide. Visual arts and fashion accessories’ lines will be yours to browse and buy from. Also, a surprise guest is expected to show up as a headlining act. Hmm, interesting.

What more could you want from a Thursday night event, aside from a bit of good karma? Check! The event will be raising proceeds for Love Cures Cancer, an organization dedicated to benefiting children with cancer and working to find a cure.

It will all take place from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tickets are $20 or $50 for the VIP package.
