Pints for Puppies

$1 per pint sold will be donated to San Diego guide dogs

Helping man’s best friend just got a little easier. On July 9, Mission Brewery will be hosting the Pints for Pups event, where $1 per pint sold will benefit San Diego’s Guide Dogs for the Blind. The event specifically aids the puppy club New Leash on Life, which trains puppies to become guide dogs for the blind in San Diego.

Those attending can meet the puppies in training, all while sipping on some of Mission Brewery’s beers.

Dog owners are welcome to bring their pooches to the event, since pet vendors will have special treats on hand. Doggie beer bones will be sold, and $1 per bag of bones purchased will go toward New Leash on Life. Also, all proceeds from Hot Doggity Dos $5 grooming services will go to the charity.

The event will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 at Mission Brewery located on 1441 L St.

Those who cannot attend are still encouraged to donate online.
