On the 16th, head to the Gaslamp and take part in the annual Mardi Gras celebration. The streets will be transformed into a huge party, filled with performers at each intersection and roving acts throughout.
Those looking to spend a little extra cash can purchase the VIP experience-- for $40, package holders get tickets to the Mardi Gras and the Incredible Masquerade Parade, no cover and VIP access to 13 participating clubs, five welcome shots, food/drink/accomodation specials, and $3 off Ace parking.
