Padres All-Star Turned Country Crooner

Padres starting pitcher Jake Peavy will perform with country artist Pat Green for a few songs at Green's concert at the House of Blues August 5.

Peavy, the youngest Padre pitcher to appear in an All-Star Game, was born in Mobile, Alabama and is a lifetime country music fan.

Special guests Wade Brown and Alex Woodard will open Pat Green's show, along with a country line dance performance and dance lessons with Incahoots in Mission Valley. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
