The Paddle for Clean Water event will be held at Ocean Beach, where paddlers can use any human-powered craft to get around the pier.

Paddle board enthusiasts can gather for a good cause on Sunday, Sept. 18 at the 20th annual Paddle for Clean Water event in Ocean Beach.

People can use any type of human-powered paddlecraft to get around the Ocean Beach Pier during the free, non-competitive event. A beach cleanup will be going on simultaneously until noon that day. There will also be free breakfast for all paddlers, guest speakers, and a raffle.

The event is supported by San Diego Surfrider Foundation, which aims to bring the community together in the name of conservation. Registration takes place the morning of the event at 9 a.m.
