Little Italy Celebrates Art Walk

More than 120,000 people are expected to attend the 28th annual Art Walk

The streets of Little Italy are known for some delicious food, but between April 28 and 29 the epicurean hotspot will be known for something else: Art.

More than 120,000 people are expected to attend the 28th annual Art Walk, sponsored by Mission Federal. It’s not only a great time to stroll the sidewalks of Little Italy, but also an opportunity to support local artists. Paintings, sculpture, glasswork and photography will all be for sale at the event.

Five stages of live music and performing arts will be playing at Art Walk – there’s even a stage dedicated to dancing. Children can enjoy events specialized for them, including face painting and entertainment.

Art Walk will take place from Saturday April 28 to Sunday, April 29 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Little Italy neighborhood. And guess what? The event is free to attend. For more information visit the event website.
