Golda's Balcony was the longest-running one-woman show in the history of Broadway, now the award-winning production is coming to San Diego

The four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshu may be recognizable to some for her recurring role as defense attorney Danielle Melnick on NBC's "Law & Order" but she truly transforms her look with her role in the upcoming Old Globe appearance.

The production follows the trajectory of the life of Golda Meir from Russian immigrant to American schoolteacher to a leader of international policies as the fourth Prime Minister of Israel.

The production runs April 28 to May 30 at the Old Globe Theatre. Tickets range from $29 to $77.

If you take advantage of some of the theatre's special programs, you could meet the artists involved in the show. On Monday, May , there's a reception and free panel with the artists. Then, on May 12, 25 and 26, you can take part in a post-show forum with members of the cast for free.

The Old Globe is located in San Diego’s Balboa Park at 1363 Old Globe Way. Free parking is available throughout the park. Valet parking is also available for $10.
