Adam Lambert made an appearance on not the red, but black carpet of the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego Thursday.
Still buzzing off the release of his debut album "For Your Entertainment" and his much-talked about American Music Awards performance, the San Diego native dedicated his most over-the-top costume to date. The KISS-inspired frock will be added to the Hard Rock’s extensive display of rock memorabilia. The collection currently includes duds and trinkets from Elvis Presley, Madonna, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Elton John.
Now, this isn’t just any costume -- this outfit comes complete with caged wings and an air of complete rock stardom. It was in this gem that he sung his heart out with KISS band members at the American Idol Season 8 finale.
Thursday’s event included a memorabilia dedication, black carpet arrival, interviews, and a fan meet and greet.
For those who couldn't attend, don’t worry -- you can still sneak a peek of Lambert’s costume on the first floor of the Hard Rock where the costume will be making its home.
