IF THE SHOE FITS: Try Walk(ing) a Mile in Her Shoes tonight starting at 4th and K streets. Women and men will be putting on high-heeled shoes and walking through the streets of downtown San Diego to build awareness for domestic violence. $35 will give you a spot and an excuse to show off your fave pair of stilettos. (Guys, that means you too). All proceeds will go to the YWCA’s Becky’s House Domestic Violence Program. High heels aren’t necessary, but encouraged. Also, don’t miss the post party where you can kick up those heels and relax. 6:30 p.m. at Hotel Solamar.

J’ADORE TOULOUSE: It’s the theme of Culture and Cocktails. It's a night at the San Diego Museum of Art dedicated to the artwork of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, a French painter, printmaker and illustrator.  Sip on St.Germain cocktails and enjoy Guiseppe-sponsored French Café cuisine. Dress the part: Ladies can make free flying, feathered hairpieces, and gents can rock their own mustache creation. Also, let yourself become mesmerized by the Keyhole Cabaret dancers. The event cost $15 and begins at 6 p.m.

CALLING ALL FOODIES: Or those who just appreciate the sport, if you will. You don’t have to stray far since restaurants and bars all along 30th street will be the ones offering sample menus beginning at two bucks a pop. While there, you snag some fresh fruits and veggies at the North Park Farmer’s Market. Check the website for participating vendors.
