    PAPER OR PLASTIC? Tonight, local band, The Plastic Revolution is playing on the Voodoo Stage at the House of Blues.  It's all part of the Local Brews Local Grooves event that emcompasses about six different acts. The music will start at 7 p.m. and there is no cover. Oh, and it's open to all ages too.

    TOTO, WE’RE NOT IN SAN DIEGO ANYMORE: The French based alternative pop band, Phoenix is playing at the Open Air Theatre. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $39.50. Opening act: Neon Indian.

    POWERFUL JAM SESH: Singer, songwriter and guitarist, James McMurtry has earned praise from peers and critics alike. He’ll be jamming a range of ballads to rock songs at the Belly Up. The show starts at 8 p.m. Admission is $15.
