MIDNIGHT MADNESS: Light your bike or dress up as Jon and Kate and head over to the County Admin building Saturday at 8 p.m. to register for the midnight fun bike run. Twenty miles later, after midnight, you'll realize all that effort went to raise money for community youth programs. Nice.

WORLD DOMINATION: The champions will be named Saturday as Vavi holds its Kickball Championships Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. at Liberty Station's NTC in Point Loma. So fun and inappropriate that after the championship is decided in the afternoon game, you'll want to cap it off with the after party.

CHARGERS RETURN: It's pre-season baby! Chargers face the Seattle Seahawks at Qualcomm, Saturday 7 p.m. You still have time to get that lightning bolt tattoo.

RUN FOR IT: Hey all you last-minute Louie's... this week's marathon - the America's Finest City Half Marathon & 5K - is full. However you can wake up early, pull out a lawn chair and eat donuts as they run from Cabrillo Monument to Balboa Park. Sunday, 6 a.m.

DANCING UNDER THE SUN: The Devastators are slated for this Sunday's Concert by the Sea in Encinitas. Bring a blanket and a friend to Moonlight Beach, 4th & B Streets in Encinitas. Sunday, 3 to 5 p.m.
