7/28: Swing Batter, Batter

Take me out to the Padre game!

SWING BATTER, BATTER: It’s going to be a tense game tonight as your first place San Diego Padres go up against the second place Los Angeles Dodgers. If you make it out to Petco Park tonight for the game, Padres will donate 50% back to ASAS Kids for every ticket purchased. Buy your tickets for $14-44. Ball game begins at 7 p.m.

YEEHAW: Dust off that cowboy hat and shine them boots, its line dancing Wednesday at In Cahoots. A little rusty? Free dance lessons are provided. The hoe-down begins at 6:30 p.m. Ages 21 & up.

O2 IS GOOD FOR YOU: If there’s anything we can always count on is that we will have air to breath. The Urban Forest Movement is a night of examining the important role the forest plays in the general well-being of San Diego’s population—how it improves our local climate, works to capture rain water, and more. Meet at the Mission Hills United Church to hear Fausto Palafox, owner of Mission Hills Nursery and member of San Diego’s Community Forest Advisory Board, speak about the forest and San Diego. 6-8 p.m. Cost is free-$10.
