SAMURIS AND SCHOOL GIRLS: Odd pairing, yes, but when you remember the renowned pop culture expo, Comic Con is in town, it all makes sense. The event will take place at The Mainline at 8:30 p.m. Models will be in character and so should you. A costume contest will award the best dressed with a prize. Also featured: live local art, DJs, and San Diego’s hottest cosplayers. Check out ticket prices and more info here.
DIGGNATION: Aside from the Comic Con after parties..let’s face it, that’s where you want to be tonight. Diggnation is putting a once in a lifetime live show in honor of Comic-Con, at the House of Blues. If you book dinner reservations between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., you’ll get a chance to meet the Revision3 crew! Make sure to arrive early since it’s first come first serve admission. The show starts and 7 p.m. Admission is free.
ROBYN IS HERE: Want a break from costumes and craziness? The Swedish singer named after the red-chested bird is making her way back into the mainstream from her popular hits back in 1997. She is playing at the Belly Up Tavern at 8 p.m. Tickets are $17 to $19.
