7/11, Your Chocolate is Missing One Thing

Tasty treats, The Wailers and catching fish bare-hand top our list tonight.

PERFECT PAIR: Two of your favorite things are going to be paired together in one afternoon at Beer and Chocolate, an event put on by the Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens. Chocolatier Will Gustwiller of Eclipse Chocolat will be delighting vistors with truffles that chocoholic and beer guru Bill Sysak  is going to couple  with a brew selection to match and ehance.  Tickets for this tatsy afternoon are $35 and  the event starts at 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.

SUMMER VIBES: The Wailers are continuing their tour of the U.S. with a gig at the Sound Wave.  If you attend, not only will you hear the legendary reggae group play their new track, “ A Step for Mankind”, proceeds from the concert will go towards the World Food Programme. The show kicks off at 8 p.m. and tickets are $25.

GOOD CATCH: Leave your fishing pole at home for catching fish at the Grunion Run on San Diego’s Coastline Beaches -you’ll only need your hands. Grunion’s are small sliver fish, only measuring up to about 5 inches long, that make an appearance on SD beaches to spawn and lay eggs in the wet sand. You can try your hand at catching one of the fish from 9:30 p.m. until 11:30. For more info check the city website.
