SWEET AND TENDER HOOLIGANS: Catch the Sweet and Tender Hooligans at the Wavehouse’s, Soundwave. The Hooligans are a tribute band to Morrissey and the Smiths, one of the most critically acclaimed 80’s English rock bands. Accompanying act is The Cure's coverband, The Curse. Tickets are $18 and the show starts at 8 p.m.
THE BLACK CROWES: If you follow your celeb gossip, you may recognize this lead singer as actress, Kate Hudson’s ex-husband, —or you may just recognize him as the frontman of 90’s hit rock band, The Black Crowes. Either way, the band has gotten much recognition for Chris Robinson’s unique voice and the bands overall classic rock sound. See them at Humphrey’s Concerts by the Bay. Tickets are $65.
QUEENSRYCHE CABARET: It will be a show like you’ve never seen before, unless of course you’ve witnessed the Queensryche Cabaret show before. The spectacle has been compared to a mix of Teatro ZinZanni and Cirque du Soleil with go-go dancers, trapeze artists, a contortionist and, of course, cabaret dances. The show, located at 4th and B,begins at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $30 to $50 and can be purchased here. Warning: Not for the faint of heart.
