“EAT, DRINK, READ”: Chefs and authors put their best works forward for Literacy at the "Eat. Drink. Read" event hosted at the urban arts center, Sushi. It will begins at 5:30 p.m. and highlight chefs from chic, local restaurants like Urban Solace, Starlite and Suite & Tender. Some of the authors attending include Bernard Guillas and Ron Oliver, of Flying Pans: Two Chefs, One World. Tickets are $60 and can be purchased here.

FULL HOUSE: It has been eight years in the running that Bar Dynamite has provided music lovers with some of the best house beats in San Diego.  DJs Duane, Lil Ryan and Johnny D will be spinning the music starting at 9 p.m. If you can't make it this week, try for next.  The all-house music event takes place every Wednesday.  Interested?
