ITALIAN SALSA: Italian and Latin cultures infused? Mamma Mia! Although it doesn’t seem like your typical pairing, Spaghetteria in Little Italy hosts a weekly salsa night for all those looking for a little Latin flavor. It’s a night with live dance jams, pumping salsa, merengue, timba, bachata and more. Be there at 8 p.m. for your free salsa lesson and then show off your skills the rest of the night. It’s a perfect way to spice up your Friday nights.

APPRECIATE THE ARTS:  Show off your inner artiste at the Swift Gallery grand opening. The gallery will honor Martha Pace Swift at the NTC (Naval Training Center) promenade and will be curated by the Expressive Art Institute. The event will last from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will also feature free open artist studios, galleries and performances.

GET A LITTLE BIT COUNTRY: Don’t be afraid to fall Off the Wagon in Ocean Beach tonight.
