FALL AMONGST THE STARLETTES:  San Diego Roller Derby's Starlettes' flat truck roller derby team will be taking on the Inland Empire Derby Divas tonight! The action begins at 5:30 p.m and admission runs from free to $12. Call 858-560-9349 for more details.

GETTING HUNGARY: Catch Gloomy Sunday, Rolf Schubel's 1999 World War II Hungary film. The screening begins at 5:30 and is part of the Culinary Cinema Series which takes place at the Oceanside Museum of  Art. Event includes nibbles and drinks, as well as a Hungarian dinner prepared by chef Steve Akin. Call 760-435-3721 for more details.

USUAL SUSPECTS: Head over to Trinity United Methodist church and enjoy the San Diego Folk Heritage contra dance-- dance the evening away as a band makes music and Steve Barlow makes the calls. Optional potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m, dance lessons begins at 7:30 p.m.
