SAN DIEGO ZOO HOLIDAY EVENTS: For the first time, the San Diego Zoo will be hosting the San Diego Zoological Society’s annual salute to Christmas and the holidays. The new holiday attraction is suitably called Jungle Bells and will include special shows such as Dr. Zoolittle’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” – with a unique Zoo twist. General admission passes are $37 for adults and $27 for children.
SAN DIEGO BOTANIC GARDEN OF LIGHTS: With over 100,000 sparkling lights, the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas is transformed into a twinkling winter wonderland at dusk. Don’t miss out on the holiday cheer at the Garden this year.
HOLIDAY OF LIGHTS AT DEL MAR: With over 400 twinkly, lively displays, the Holiday of Lights at the Del Mar Fairgrounds is the largest animated drive-through light show on the West Coast. The spectacular light show and exhibit is organized into a selection of themes, which include: Toyland, Candy Cane Land, Treasures by the Lake, San Diego County Fair, Del Mar Racetrack, the Twelve Days of Christmas and Elves at Play. Pricing starts at $14 for a car of 5 people.
