ALL BENT UP:  Yellow stars, pink triangles, comfort and survival.  These things all come together in the play Bent, a gripping story about love and gay persecution in the middle of the Holocaust. The show plays at the Diversionary Theatre and runs through Nov. 22.

THIS CALLS FOR A BEER:  Tonight, the Sorrento Valley location of Karl Strauss Brewery celebrates the Brewery Restaurants 20th anniversary with a beer dinner.  Dinner includes four-courses paired with Strauss' finest beers.  RSVP by calling (858) 587-2739.

TO THE OPERA:  The San Diego Shakespeare Society presents Shakespeare Goes to the Opera.  This show features an array of local opera stores who will sing out some of the greatest moments from Shakespeare-based Operas.  The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
