OPEN-MIC: Writers take the Mic every first and third Thursday of the month at Elevated. The event starts out with an open-mic, followed a featured poet closes who out the evening. $5 bucks funds your entry to this artistic and inspiring experience.
FILM FESTIVAL: Oceanside has its very own film festival! Catch viewings of independent film makers and others from around the world. If you're looking to learn something, the festival is also offering up workshops for filmmakers on as well. $15 gets you in for the day.
HONORABLE MENTION: Honor Society is playing an all-ages show downtown at the House of Blues. This pop-rock band is also known to hold Pinkberry Parking Lot Parties where they meet fans outside of Pinkberry Restaurants.
