    Sunday September 5: The Los Angeles Times Food and Wine Festival From the epicurean to those who simply love good food, this all-day event has every ingredient to satisfy your appetite for new twists and classic favorites t Paramount Pictures studios. LA Times Food and Wine Festival

    INDULGE YOURSELF: Sip wines from all over the world, sample beers and taste some of the best deserts that money can buy at The Prado in Balboa Park as they celebrate the 10th annual Harvest Festival. Not only does the night feature fine dining, but highlights include a chef grill-off where guests will get to vote for the best dish in the house. Tickets are available online and the event runs from 5 to 9 p.m.

    QUICK HITS: So many shows are happening tonight and here’s a quick round-up. At 7:30 there’s folk music at Anthology with Shawn Colvin, head over to Loft at UCSD for jazz and soul with Meklit Hadero at 8, check out some indie rock as the Foals play the Casbah at 8:30,  and catch some good $3 tunes at Soda Bar when Heavy Glow plays at 9.

    SKEETBALLIN’:Remember Skeetball from grade school? Here’s your chance to play it again, and this time for better prizes then you’d get back in school. VAVi's Ultimate Skeeball at Dave & Busters kicks off at 6 p.m. and their looking for teams to enter into the contest where big kids rule and costumes are highly encouraged.
