On May 15, San Diegans will come together inside a Rancho Santa Fe home to listen to the music of Tristan Prettyman and Friends, dine on some of the best food from North County restaurants and sip fine wines from Napa Valley--- all to raise money to combat Alzheimer’s disease.

Imagine walking into a room and calling out to your mother or father, saying their name, only to have them turn and not recognize who you are. It’s just one of the side effects of Alzheimer’s disease, a disorder that destroys brain cells. The condition is the 6th leading cause of death in San Diego and affects 50,000 people in our community.

Susan Taylor, Marty Levin, Jim Laslavic and Pat Brown, all anchors of NBC 7/39, are all taking part in Our Bright Future, a very special event to raise money for the San Diego Azheimer's Association.

Only 450 tickets are being sold for this extraordinary evening.

Partygoers will also have the chance to bid on a number of unusual auction items, including a 5,000 square foot luxury home at Big Sky Montana, an oceanfront home in Cabo San Lucas, a ride in a Rolls Royce and a 1920's Bi-Plane, or a sail for 25 on Dennis Conner's schooner "America" as well as one-of-a-kind golf and football get-aways , plus trips to NYC to see shows including Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Fallon, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, or VIP tickets to the Ellen Show in Los Angeles.

Tristan Prettyman and Friends, best known for her songs Madly, Madly, Madly and Shy That Way (a duet with Jason Mraz), will perform for guests.
