Great for summer - easy, breezy linen.

SUMMER CAMP: Surprisingly versatile and cucumber-cool, camp shirts are a warm weather staple that shouldn't be ignored. They come in light colors or small patterns and are cotton, boxy and long. Pair them with leggings and sandals or tuck them into summer slacks for work. The Sheer Boyfriend Dress Blouse at Twirl in Hillcrest comes in light yellow, orange, blue and green ($34).

PITTER PATTERN: Leather shoes are lovely, but they aren't known for their breathability. Treat your feet to the breezy Eliza Geometric Pump by oh...DEER! With their fun patterned fabric, peep-toe styling and cork platform heel, you'll gladly give your patent shoes a break. You can pick them up, along with many other great finds, at Stephanie's in La Jolla.

FINE LINENS: Staying suited up in July can be an uncomfortable proposition, unless you have a nice pair of linen slacks. The Jackson tie-waist pants at Banana Republic ($69) are light and loose in a linen/cotton blend, yet structured enough for the workplace. They are only available in sandstone (grey) online, but you can find them at Fashion Valley Mall or Horton Plaza in a light brown color as well. While you're there, find out how to audition for a walk-on role in AMC's Mad Men and sign up to win a $1,000 gift card.
