Local Fundraiser to Support School Programs

   During a time of pink slips and budget cuts, step out and exercise hope for students. Join NBC 7/39’s Whitney Southwick for a silent auction and dinner event benefiting Allen Elementary School.
 
    Bid items include passes to local venues and entertainment, goody baskets, and autographed sports memorabilia. Dinner and dancing is included.
 
    The event is on March 27, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Chula Vista. Tickets are currently on sale at Allen.
