Pablo Pereira

Award winning Meteorologist Pablo Pereira has been forecasting weather here in Southern California for more than a decade. His currently provides the weather forecasts weekends on NBC 7/39 at 11 p.m.
Pereira has been named Best Weathercaster by the Associated Press. He has also won a Television Emmy and six APTRA awards for his Environmental, Documentary and Feature Reporting.
Before joining NBC 7/39, Pereira was a weather forecaster for KABC TV in Los Angeles. Prior to that, Pablo was a weekday Weather Forecaster at WFAA TV in Dallas, Texas and also provided daily weather for the #1 rated Country Radio station in America, KSCS 96.3 FM.
Pereira began his broadcasting career at KRBC TV in Abilene, Texas. From Abilene he moved to Bakersfield where he served as a Weather Forecaster for KERO TV and a short time later moved up the San Joaquin Valley to KSEE TV in Fresno where he also served as a Weather Forecaster.
A graduate of Sonoma State University, Pereira also completed the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University to earn the American Meteorological Society's Seal of Approval. He is also a member of the National Weather Association and the National Association of Hispanic Journalist.
Pereira is a Southern California native. In his free time he enjoys traveling, movies and anything baseball.
