Tony Gwynn will be San Diego State's head baseball coach for three more years.

The Aztec legend received a new contract Wednesday.  While the Aztecs have not reached the NCAA Tournament under Gwynn, they have come close, winning the Mountain West Conference championship in 2004.

Despite working as a TV analyst for both Padres games on COX Channel 4 and TBS, Gwynn says he's 100 percent committed to being a collegiate coach.

Can he really show the guys how to play anymore. They (SDSU) would of fired Gwynn if he was anybody else. The team has too many future MLB players (and now pros) to not be in the postseason!
