STOCKTON, Calif. -- Anthony Brown scored a game-high 19 points to lead Pacific to a 66-58 victory over UC San Diego.

Jordan Lawley led San Diego with 14 points. Kelvin Kim made all four of his 3-point attempts to score 12 for the Tritons while teammate Shane Poppen added 10. Lawley's drive to the basket brought San Diego within 54-49 with four minutes to play. But the Tritons didn't get any closer.

Sam Willard had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers, who won their home opener for the sixth consecutive season. Willard had six points in a 10-2 Pacific run midway through the second half that gave the Tigers their biggest lead at 49-34. Joe Ford scored 10 points for Pacific, which never trailed in the game.
